Kia EV4 hatchback spied in Korea
The Kia EV4 was initially teased as an affordable electric sedan, but recent sightings in Korea have revealed a hatchback variant undergoing testing. Could this be Kia's strategic move to create a vehicle specifically designed to suit the European market's fondness for hatchbacks?
Kia first unveiled the EV4 concept last October as part of its ambitious plan to roll out a range of budget-friendly electric vehicles. Although initially described as a "new type of EV sedan," the hatchback version spotted in Korea suggests Kia will soon be broadening its horizons.
From the video, the EV4 hatchback seems to blend design elements from both the EV3 and EV4 sedan. While the front fascia largely mirrors the sedan, the rear end gets a complete makeover. The hatchback's lights appear to draw inspiration from the EV3, and the extended roofline adds a touch of practicality.
The interior of the EV4 is unlikely to change much. Expect Kia's latest ccNC infotainment system on dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and driver information. Kia remains tight-lipped about the EV4's powertrain and battery specifications for now, but expect those come close to what the EV3 offers.
The EV4's expected price range is $35,000 to $50,000, but we hope Kia will give us more details soon.

https://thekoreancarblog.com/2024/04/05/could-kia-k4-5-door-serve-as-ceed-replacement/ XCeed is essentially upped Ceed, so it will probably replace both.

That is highly unlikely, but XCeed, I would say is, a reasonable suggestion.
