Tesla’s Spring Update 2026 brings big changes

I just wish they would finally remove the intrusive & abusive functions from the standard driving assistance:
I do not want to be educated by my car; especially not when it is wrong! Tesla is even worse than EU legislation:
Tesla disables all driver assist for the duration of the whole trip, e.g.when you exceed 140kmh or use driver assist while exceeding the speed limit of more than 20kmh or when overriding steering asssist more than 3x or...
Even if Tesla would know the correct speed limit at all times - which it does not - this would still be VERY intrusive. This is especially an issue in Europe, where you have often short road construction sites with very low speed limit which are not dismissed at the end...
