Honda is bringing the e:NP1 to Europe as the e:Ny1
The 2023 Honda e:Ny1 is the company's second fully-electric vehicle aimed at the European market and it's actually a rebranded e:NP1 released in July last year. Honda says that it wants to tap into the growing demand for SUVs from the B-segment in the region.
Honda shared a couple of images that confirm the e:Ny1's close relation to the Chinese e:NP1. Both cars look identical inside and out and are based on the e:N Architecture F with front-wheel drive drawing power from a 68.8 kWh battery and peaking at 201 hp. This ensures a 412 km (258 mi) range, while a fast-charging DC system can go from 10 to 80% in just 45 minutes.
Honda says that the e:Ny1 will arrive in Europe market in the following months but didn't mention anything about pricing. Some media outlets cite $37,500 starting price in the UK, but that's not officially confirmed as of now.
