Italy's beloved Lancia Ypsilon is back and looking better than ever. And it's now available for purchase in both its all-electric and a mild-hybrid (MHEV) versions.
The initial batch is the Lancia Ypsilon Edizione Limitata Cassina is a collaboration between Lancia and Cassina, an Italian furniture design brand.

The all-electric Lancia Ypsilon boasts a range of up to 250 miles (WLTP combined cycle) and a fast-charging capability that allows you to add 62 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging. The MSRP of this early batch starts at $42,921, which is rather ambitious on Lancia's part.

The Ypsilon's mild-hybrid (MHEV) features a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder 100-horsepower hybrid engine paired with a 6-speed e-DCT automatic transmission. And it beats the EV version in the probably most important duel - it starts at a far more palatable $30,000.

Lancia claims the Ypsilon is the only car in its segment to offer Level 2 Autonomous Driving as standard.
The Ypsilon availability opens the new chapter for Lancia, an era defined by bold electrification and an innovative vision for a sustainable future. With the kind of price it commands though we'd really be surprised if there was a rush to the showrooms.
