Take a look at Nio's Onvo L90 SUV in all its massive glory
Nio's sub-brand Onvo is almost ready to launch its second model, following the L60 SUV which came out last year. The next Onvo will also be an SUV, but a much larger one. Meet the Onvo L90.
This was just certified for sale in China by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a process which always reveals images of the cars that can be quite unflattering. Thus, Onvo decided to out its own set of official images of the L90, which you can see below.

It's definitely a massive SUV, this one. The MIIT certification confirms it has a 122.4 inches wheelbase. It's 202.6 inches long, 78.7 inches wide, and 69.5 inches tall, with its curb weight being between 4,960 lb and 5,258 lb.

It will have six seats, and will be powered by a rear electric motor with 340kW of power in the single-motor version. There will also be a variant with an added 100kW front motor. Thus, the combined output is 440kW or 590hp. The top speed is limited to 124 mph.

The car will come with 20" standard wheels and optional 21" ones. It uses both NMC and LFP batteries, with the standard capacity being 85kWh. Like all Nio vehicles and the Onvo L60, the L90 will support Nio's battery swapping. The L90 is due to start deliveries in the third quarter of this year (July to September). It will allegedly be presented at the Shanghai Auto Show next week.
