Smaller sibling of electric Range Rover spotted for the first time
While Range Rover prepares to launch its inaugural EV later this year, the second one steals a little bit of limelight from its limelight. Leaked footage gives us a glimpse of a smaller, potentially more affordable electric model expected to hit the market in 2026.
The video, captured by CarSpyMedia, shows the yet-to-be-named electric SUV being unloaded from a transport carrier at Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) Nurburgring test facility.
Although the official name and specifications remain under wraps, it is widely speculated that this smaller EV could be the electric version of the popular Range Rover Velar.
The waitlist for the first Range Rover EV reportedly exceeds 42,000, indicating strong consumer interest in the brand's electric future. A smaller, more affordable EV will likely exceed that number comfortably.
