Why are we still helping China get ahead if they literaly shot lazers from space onto Hawaii's dormant volcanos? Maby we should stick to reliable startups to make EVs such as Lucid and Faraday Future.

Xiaomi thinks selling a car it's like selling a phone, where you can forget about any support after 2 years.

Letting these phone manufacturers to take over car industry is one of the worst thing ever to do. You'll be bombarded with bloatware and ads during driving, and they'll take away convenient, even safety features claiming they're "outdated" (like they did to headphone jack and microSD card) and put forward that which profits them the most. In a smartphone, you don't feel it much, but during driving, when your life is in danger, you'll very much feel it. The button that you could push without looking is now replaced with touchscreen where you're now forced to look, taking your eyes off the road.

But I don't feel the slightest sympathy for you when you'll crash your new apple or Xiaomi or whatever car because you're the reason these OEMs have been been able to go this far. You're over at GSMarena always defending their plans to replace physical volume and power buttons with touch "buttons" and arguing they were right to ditch headphone jack and microSD card. Of course, that philosophy has now hit the car industry because you asked for it.
