This is just an additional bulb, on each side, that can turn on when turning.
Nobody should be wowed by this 1950s style of technology. It's just apple's solution to not have to pay for existing patents of adaptive headlights held by Ford.

Hmm, that is nice, but my car can turn its lights as well and turn a portion of light off as well in attempt to not blind people driving in the other direction.
