Zeekr 001 with 140 kWh Qilin battery real life range test results
Lucid test vs Zeekr test.
L 1 pax 110km/h
Z 4 pax 120km/h

However, they only offered it in the rear wheel drive and low spec WE option. I guess, that they could not justify for the heavier 140kWh battery pack to improve the handling of the car, had it 2 x 200kW instead of only one 200kW engine.
I am driving the Zeekr 001 with 140kWh for over a year now, and the range is a total gamechanger. Any stinking gas powered car I owned before cannot even sniff it. My Audi A7 had 595 km range on highways with 120km/h limit, but only 495 km innercity. My Zeekr does easy 780km on highways but a real 990km innercities. I often charge the car only once a month.

On top of that the charging speed has been improved so 500 mile range can be added in 10mins if the charger supports it

If they managed to cram 140kW worth in the same space as the regular 70kW ones, that’s a serious achievement. Too bad it isn’t really mentioned here which makes me think that’s not the case.

it's not "battery tech is improving", it's just pure brute force (140kWh of that).
With 70kWh, the range would be 400km - that's standard today (17.5kWh/100km)...
