Apple files for augmented reality windshield patent

Apple is yet again diving into the automotive world with a patent for an augmented reality windshield. But is this the future of driving or just another tech fantasy?

This is unsuitable for implementation in today's roads. It will require full automation and complete redesign of roads and traffic

I'm more curious how they'll make the on screen markings always accurate if the driver moves his head around all the time, changing the perspective.

Need for Speed days are back!

Honestly anything on screen could distract driver so is more gimmick than an usefull feature to be more exact.
At least my self shouldnt feeling comfortable with lots of blue, green and any else warnings, lines etc on a screen.
