This article is misleading. Apps aren't going on the cars infotainment systems like android auto, these apps are for tracking cars in a fleet.

Musk has been talking about this since 2016, but where has the progress been? It's clear that software development is not his strong suit.

The fact that this API is limited to enterprise entities with Tesla fleets just proves that Musk's focus is not on everyday consumers. It's a shame for those of us who actually want to use our Teslas to their full potential.
