If we talk about quality, you have to realize this car is extremely high quality for the price. If you want really good quality you will be spending 500.000 euros on a car and we both know you are either driving nothing or you are a driving a piece of shit gas car!

I hope they don't sell it in Europe or US. western consumers and authorities will not tolerate xiaomi for their quality and safety shortcuts and flaws. xiaomi will have many returns, recalls, sues and pay compensations. there is not a single car that failed its brakes for 30-40 years. unfortunately, there is a massive gap between safety quality expectations. automotive is not consumer electronics.

TBH, do not expect me to explain why it matters. There is a ton of information regarding this topic, feel free to use beloved search engine of yours.

Yet you started a pointless flame about weight, so not sure what I should think about It.

[deleted post]You know, trying to make it in "Xiaomi vs. the world where all the people care about are Apple products" won't probably work here.
I would bet most of us are more than 10 years old and do not enjoy such a pointless flaming anymore.

The buttons below is one example, which I would opt for if it had been available here. For those who prefer only screen, for some reason, that is also possible.

The buttons I need in a car are for music (mode, next, prev., vol+ and vol-), for cruise control, answering and ending calls all on the steering wheel. Then for A/C in the center console in a easily reachable position, as well as on/off, driving mode and setting the heated/ventilated seats. For more advanced features, using the display when parked.

No mousepad, nor 90's featurephone buttons for infotainment navigation, and definetly no capacitive buttons.

A very nice car. I hope they soon expand globally, after the "newborn" pains have been fixed.

That screen is huge. Hope the manufacturers will soon realize that people are not that crazy about screens in cars.
At least they put a lot of physical buttons, so you donĀ“t have to use touchscreen that much.
Hope there are no ads during driving as on their phones.

O.o That is abysmal we... moreThe BMW i5 has roughly the same dimensions as the SU7 and its weight range from 2205 to 2380kg. The SU7's weight range from 1980 to 2205 kg. While that is a lot of weight the car is lugging around, the SU7 is not worse than the other EVs in the same segment.
