Anonymous, 19 Jun 2022I was hoping for a diesel model...why don't we use recycled fuels out of plastic.tech alr... moreI guess the main reason is emissions - however "clean" the fuel may be there are always emissions when something is burnt. Using any fuel in the combustion process to extract energy is the least efficient - as much as 60% of produced energy is wasted as heat. Never mind all the marketing and politics around the subject - we need much better efficiency and no emissions. I know - there are emissions at power plants that produce electricity for electric cars. But equally there are emissions at refineries that produce fuel. Then there are emissions from transporting the fuel and then there are emissions from the end user - us driving the actual car. Emissions at the point of energy production can be easier captured and controlled. The end user - that's us - has always been a huge problem. The point is - we desperately need cleaner air and we can't afford to wait for it any longer.

Only 188 hp? That is not enough for a EV, because an EV is more heavier than a conventional car.

I was hoping for a diesel model...why don't we use recycled fuels out of plastic.tech already in place.ev won't last too much cost in mining.
