CATL, the world's leading EV battery manufacturer, is taking big steps in the development of all-solid-state batteries, promising higher energy density and longer driving ranges for electric cars.

"over current lithium-ion batteries, which typically have an energy density of around 300-350 Wh/kg" Pulled these numbers out of thin air. Phones have 180wh/kg , EVs don't reach higher than 250wh/kg. NIO made a seni solid state battery, that doesn't count.
