Nissan employed a former board member and even ex-prime minister to convince Tesla to invest in Nissan and in return get US factories, which are pretty much a dead weight for Nissan.
How very nice of them for offering Tesla such a 'great' deal, but regrettably Elon Musk already shot It down.
