General Motors is now producing more electric vehicle battery cells in the US than Tesla - a major shift in the competitive landscape of the EV industry.

What nonsense is this?
Battery powers the Electric engine with electricity, which produces force to move the car.
Fuel tank powers the IC engine with fuel, which produces force to move the car.
Yet he compares the battery to an engine? And then concludes how a battery saves development cost.
