But I think here too much money was spent to just go bankrupt, but who knows, It doesn't look good even if the author thinks otherwise.

From the info on wikipedia:
2020-2024
Revenue: 11,117 million $
Net income: -22,579 million $
Ouch, they lost 2x more than they earned.

Last year was
Revenue: 4,970 million $
Net income: −4,689 million $
Considering they will make and sell less cars this year, then the outcome won't be much better than last year, still a massive loss.

They just started to build their factory in Georgia. which will be operation in 2028, so It will take time and until then many billions will be lost, but the capacity is supposedly 200,000 cars, so that amount should make It profitable, the question is If they can sell 5-6x more cars than now.

Their models only make sense in the US market since they are huge. Price also eliminates a lot of potential customers. They are still burning cash to this day, and there isn't a plan in sight to become profitable. Getting Fisker vibes.

Others don't have this problem despite bigger volume of cars manufactured.
I still think Saudis and VW made a bad investment.

The cars are not cheap, but without increasing production the company won't ever be profitable.

BTW I have to question what they are doing?
Rivian in old news was expected to produce 50,000 in 2022 and we are now in 2025 and they still can't produce that much, last year they supposedly produced 49,000.
In comparison Xiaomi almost manages in a month what they will produce this year and Xiaomi started mass production last year.
