This is impressive technology. But as the article says only very limited areas have a grid that can support this massive power. In my opinion the tech per car ratio isn't quite as great. Regular HP chargers are already big and can support two cars. These installations require so much tech per car that it's hard to imagine seeing an entire charging hub with those. XPeng cars already manage incredibly short charging times of not much more than 10 minutes (10-80). In my mind it's a very expensive PR/Marketing strategy to show that "we can" no matter the cost. The need to install support batteries isn't helping the ecological advantage of electrical cars. You need batteries in the car and at chargers to save a few minutes.
It remains impressive technology. For long distance trucks with massive batteries of several kwh there might be a market.
