2027 BMW 7-Series gets a high-tech makeover

BMW’s flagship 7-Series and electric i7 get a technology boost for 2027 - new battery cells, a passenger dashboard screen, and a lighter electrical system.

As a very old fan of the 7-Series and a collector of every generation, I think I’ll skip owning this one entirely! :( I had very high hopes for the LCI (like in the E65) and wanted it to be a huge improvement.
Sadly, nothing in this lump feels luxurious on the inside, materials feel cheap, the screens add nothing to the experience, you can’t use the screen iin back if your driver is anything but a child and so on and so forth…
Will continue using my G12 as a daily and the old ones will forever remain perfectly preserved for the generations to see what a real luxury sedan used to look like!
