Xiaomi unveils robotic EV charger after Tesla abandoned the idea

Xiaomi plans to launch a compact home charging robotic arm by late 2026, delivering the hands-free, high-efficiency plug-in experience for electric cars that Tesla famously abandoned a decade ago.

Anyway. This could be developed for existing gas stations. You just stay in car (keep it safe). Pay in mobile app for station 11 and the robotic arm would recognize your car (or have it set in your mobile app) and it would do the rest. Easy peasy!

Well as they say, the Chinese will be quick to copy, before you can even call a cop or bobby!
Didn't even give them time to patent, did they?

But honestly, it's a very small innovation that can grab a lot of lazybums as customers. And hey, fat-shaming is now a taboo, so nobody even dare!

Frici, 13 Jun 2026Completely pointless development. Such inventions will create a society without basic skills. The owner know how to drive EV, having this robotic arms is not about convenience,
is a show off of the high performance tech lifestlye.
