Toyota’s first fully electric pickup truck arrives with rugged specs

Nice, the first ladder on frame EV i am aware of. Funny, the pictures show a german number plate.
Toyota has most likely analyzed driving habits of existing ICE Hilux customers. Except for a handful of days during the year the range should be plenty. But, of course, if you take a truck like this with its bad aerodynamics as a long distance cruiser it won't be enough range. There are better EV's for long distance travel.

50k before tax, and probably around 60k euros with it. With the specs it has, it would sell MAYBE 10 units/year at 20,000 euros... There is literally NOTHING that makes sense about this vehicle. Even small B-hatchbacks come with a bigger battery than this.

59.2 kWh water-cooled lithium-ion battery pack? Are they kidding?
That's laughable for this kind of car and WLTP of only 257km shows It exactly. Add any towing to the mix and you would be lucky for 150km range.
Totally useless car and no one with a working brain would pay >=€49,450 for this.
