Tesla under criminal investigation in the US over self-driving claims

Tesla is facing criminal investigation by DoJ over claims that its cars can drive themselves. The investigation has been ongoing since last year and only just came to light.

It's far ahead of the competition and most owners are happy with its capabilities, in my experience but also in surveys I've seen. It's unfortunately the relatively few and often ridiculous lawsuits that grab the headlines. The DOJ has been politicized nowadays and Musk is not the left's favorite, not in the US and not in the EU.

I wouldnt be surprised if he would be one of so called grey eminences.
